I waited to write my review until I used them several times. I love these pads! I really feel like I’m helping the environment by not throwing pads away EVERY month. I also feel much better about using these on my body. They are super absorbent and are very comfortable. Some others talked about them moving around but I didn’t have a problem with that and feel like they covered more area than the disposables. I feel like if they move to much for you, maybe you can wear a pair of yoga shorts under your clothes and it will help with keeping them in place. 🙂 They are super easy to clean. I rinse them in the sink after I change my pad (which btw is NOT as often as disposables) and fold them and toss them into the hamper until I do a load of laundry, I just unfold them and let the machine do the hard work. I hang dry them by snapping the ends together and draping them over my closet door. Some of the patterns are cute and some I could do without but no one sees them but me so it’s not a big deal to me. These are a 10 out of 10.
When I first ordered these I was skeptical. But they are easy to clean...and they keep ME clean! There is no oder while wearing them. Some throw away would let orders escape and I always feared others could smell me on my period...my thoughts were...if I can smell it
.so can others. So I was very insecure about that...these ease those worries! And we're I used to keep a yeast infection bc I wore throw away pads everyday as a protection against a sneeze or cough that might cause a bladder leak, well...I wear these every day. With NO yeast infections anymore!! I don't worry about bladder leaks, they held up really well with my first week of using..I got super sick and was hacking, coughing, and drizzling "pee" like a crippled animal everytime I turned around! These reusable pads, caught everything!!! And as a truck driver being on the road, I wasn't able to change immediately and would have to wait til I reached an area I could pull over to change...the pads kept the wetness away from me, and it was very rare that I ever had to change pants too!! Where with the throw away pads I'd have went through pads, panties, and pants all at the same time!!! Cleaning them is super easy as well. It's no more than washing out a pair of pants you've accidentally bled into...the only difference is these keep it out of your pants and into the pads where it belongs!! I'm ordering the wider ones for wearing with my white outfits. Not that these wouldn't hold it...it's more for my insecurities more than anything! Tbh, these haven't leaked into my pants not one time and that's with really bad periods AND blood clots! Seems like being older those come more often than not, but still these pads catch them and soak them up and keep them away from me...wear the throw away just let it set there next to your skin!! I e ordered more, bc I'll never go back to throwaways again. I dread using them or tampons either one now. And have had too on occasion when I ran out of these. Also another reason I ordered more! When I was sick I went through them pretty fast and being on the road I couldn't wash them thoroughly right away...just a quick wash out and then go...they'd dry in the truck and then get washed when I wash my regular clothes. I'm extremely happy with these!!! Thank you so much!!!
If you’re on the fence about these, you need to hop over it and try them! I have had HORRIFIC periods since I was nine. I’m talking cramps that double me over (like labor pains). HUGE blood clots, like the size of my hand. Bleeding for literally months at a time. I decided to try these and period underwear. IT WAS LIFE CHANGING. My periods have lasted a WEEK with only TWO days of heavy bleeding and NORMAL blood clots?! They are SO absorbent and they’re actually comfortable. I mean of course it feels like you’re wearing something but they’re super soft and stay in place well. I will never ever go back to disposable pads. These are good for the environment AND our bodies! :)
So I've always used disposable pads, I have super heavy flows, suffered from PCOS and endometriosis for years. So I'd go through pads quite a bit. Recently I had saw some posts about how the Always Brand pads cause more pain because of the chemicals in the pads, I tried a little experiment using those when my period started versus using these. I hate to say it but a couple hours after starting wearing Always pads I start hurting more, switched using these and I don't have any excess pain other than my normal period pain. So that's food for thought. Super cute designs. Feels like nothing if you're used to huge pads. Very absorbent, and stays in place well. Highly recommend.
Wish we would have tried these years ago!!! If you are on the fence about getting this product JUST DO IT!! We started with one and bought 2 more! So easy to use and after accident and accident with original pads these are so much better on absorption. The only downfall (which is solvable) if in public you wouldn't want to rinse out in view of others, so find a handicap bathroom that has a sink. Rinsing out right away will keep these like new for years.
